Antimullerian Hormone and Infertility

The determination of levels of hormone Antimulleriana (AMH) is becoming more frequent in cases of infertility . The hormonal changes associated with the woman's age are perfectly described. Establishing reliable indicators to detect a decline in the ovarian reserve and therefore in the woman's age is key to establishing a prognosis.

Ultrasound of the ovaries is a very useful tool for this work. Another factor to consider is the classical determination of hormones in the first days of the menstrual cycle (FSH, LH, Estradiol ...) Some of these determinations can be replaced or supplemented with the determination of the hormone Antimulleriana.
